    You should be out here in breezy Santa Monica. Anyway, yes, both heat and sunlight damage cannabinoids. Keep it below 80 degrees and out of sunlight. Store in a dark glass jar.

    Miron glass products are the best for storage.

  • OK, well very simply put, Cannabis while on the plant is not activated. In other words, if you try consume raw cannabis flower without activation it is just not effective for many and is certainly not psychoactive. To activate or to make the cannabis medications, such as THC and CBD and others active, they need to be heated. When you smoke, you heat it with fire. When you use a Vape, you are heating it just to the point where this activation or “decarboxylation” takes place.

    Cannabis needs heat to become active. Hope that helps.
