The ideal treatment in my opinion, would be a fairly balanced sub lingual tincture with both CBD and THC. You won’t be impaired and I have seen it help a lot of patients
Hi-
I have suffered with fibromyalgia since 1987, but in the past 5 years it has gotten increasingly awful. I have intense flare ups with extremely tight sore muscles, and nothing helps. I have taken aleve, tramadol, antidepressants, morphine, vicodin, flexeril, ativan…small doses, and nothing helps! Can hardly move some days……can cannabis help me? I am very sensitive to meds, so what kind of doses of cannabis would help and render me still able to drive, think and function?
Thanks ,
CRH
Thanks so much for the follow up. I will post your note, as it may help others. Thanks, Allan
Thank you, so much! I am a newbie and this is the first relief I have had in months. I was doubtful that cannabis would help me, but am now a believer! I am pretty much pain-free. It feels like a dream! Thank you, again!
I have visited your blog before. The more I learn, the more I keep coming back!
Thanks so much…. Allan
I too have chronic pain ( the Rheumatolotists won’t call it fibromyalgia yet) and have had great success with a sativa tincture which is non-alcoholic and based in Agave. It sure beats the list of scary anti-seizure meds the doctors wanted me to take for something I may or may not have, that may or may not help! Your website is excellent and very informative for newbies like me (at 54 years old). Thanks for your commitment to better living without pharmaceuticals with terrible side effects. JSD
Kevin,
I have had great success with Fibromyalgia patients with Cannabis Sativa Tincture – under the tongue sprays.

Fibromyalgia is a tough condition to deal with. On one hand you experience so much pain that is difficult to deal with and at the other end the doctor tells you after all the tests that there seems nothing wrong with your body. The debate continues wheather it is a physiological condition or psychological.
