ANOTHER PATIENT WITH CEREBRAL PALSY TREATED WITH CANNABIDIOL AND THC-ACID

I just met in follow-up with a 17 y/o male with Cerebral Palsy and his mother. For the past year or so, the young man was being treated with a wide range CBD:THC capsules. His spasticity and minor seizures were nearly completely controlled.

His seizures, although recently rare, only came at night – which is pretty common for many of this children, so we doubled the CBD at night. This led to further, near complete, seizure cessation. His spasticity was also a bit better.

Recently we added low dose THC-Acid and the change has been significant. There is much less spasticity and the minor seizures are all gone, other than a minor short lived seizure once per month – as opposed to dozens per day one year ago.

Here is a good review article:

Allan Frankel, MD Dr Allan Frankel is one of the few physicians in the US who truly understands Cannabis as a medicine. All treatments suggested have been well studied. Every patient seen by Dr Frankel is given a personally created Treatment Plan created with the patient's specific issues defined. Plant medicine requires "tuning" of the dosing. Dr Frankel works with his patients thru a messaging portal. The use of this portal, allows quick and simple follow up contact with Dr Frankel. Patients are not charged for these messages, as this is how Dr Frankel has learned what he has learned. Follow up appointments in person or by phone/video are also available when needed

Cannabis May Prevent COVID-19 Infections

Early studies in both Israel and Canada show findings consistent with CBD's effect on COVID-19's ability to take hold in the lungs or the gastrointestinal tract. If the receptors are reduced, the viral infection and pulmonary toxicity should be reduced.

CBD has recently been studied to help with Graft Versus Host Disease which can occur after an organ transplant. Dr Frankel also highlights potential dosing with whole plant cannabis and why whole plant cannabis is more beneficial to single molecule CBD.
