BRAIN INJURY, MEMORY LOSS AND CANNABIDIOL

There are dozens of articles in the literature showing brain or neuro-protection of CBD. I believe there is no question that the data strongly suggests that CBD is both a protective agent as well as a healing agent.

I don’t know why it took so many years, but I finally saw my first brain injury patient where therapy with CBD made perfect sense. In addition, this particular patient has been treated for the past year for memory loss as a result of a car accident 15 months ago. She has had persistent memory loss that was her main issue. This was well recognized by her family and physicians as well as regular University Based memory therapy and testing.

This patient, of whom more will be revealed over time, has taken whole plant CBD for the past five weeks. She has had a major improvement already changing her life. Her family and physicians are aware of the change and she will be undergoing a full memory study in follow-up in a month or so. It will be great to have the objective data.

I am waiting for the day when all NFL players take a few mg of CBD before any practice or game. I bet we could show a difference in a short time and there would be zero risks – other than political.

Allan Frankel, MD Dr Allan Frankel is one of the few physicians in the US who truly understands Cannabis as a medicine. All treatments suggested have been well studied. Every patient seen by Dr Frankel is given a personally created Treatment Plan created with the patient's specific issues defined. Plant medicine requires "tuning" of the dosing. Dr Frankel works with his patients thru a messaging portal. The use of this portal, allows quick and simple follow up contact with Dr Frankel. Patients are not charged for these messages, as this is how Dr Frankel has learned what he has learned. Follow up appointments in person or by phone/video are also available when needed

Cannabis May Prevent COVID-19 Infections

Early studies in both Israel and Canada show findings consistent with CBD's effect on COVID-19's ability to take hold in the lungs or the gastrointestinal tract. If the receptors are reduced, the viral infection and pulmonary toxicity should be reduced.
