I would estimate that 1/3 of my patients have dramatically serious issues with cancer or seizures. The balance of my patients come in with issues of the “walking wounded”. No huge drama. No huge press coverage. At the same time these more commonplace issues cause most of the illness on a day to day basis.

Pain, particularly neuropathic pain, is a major issue that is benefitted by THC/CBD in many cases.

Anxiety, is a commonplace issue that causes so many secondary symptoms. Small or even tiny doses of a couple of mg of CBD can help patients with anxiety and it’s related diseases such as depression, gastrointestinal and other issues.

Insomnia – obvious; millions of patients have used cannabis for help at night. I would guess that most patients who use cannabis are using it for insomnia and at times related anxiety.

Generalized mood disorders, including bi-polar patients are helped all the time. In my opinion, bi-polar disease is now diagnosed in MANY patients who have a simple agitated depression with anxiety and insomnia and cannabis is often very helpful

It is at times hard to believe that this group of plants could produce medicine that helps so many people and varied diseases. I, at times, find it hard to believe.

Try it. You’ll like it.

Allan Frankel, MD Dr Allan Frankel is one of the few physicians in the US who truly understands Cannabis as a medicine. All treatments suggested have been well studied. Every patient seen by Dr Frankel is given a personally created Treatment Plan created with the patient's specific issues defined. Plant medicine requires "tuning" of the dosing. Dr Frankel works with his patients thru a messaging portal. The use of this portal, allows quick and simple follow up contact with Dr Frankel. Patients are not charged for these messages, as this is how Dr Frankel has learned what he has learned. Follow up appointments in person or by phone/video are also available when needed

Cannabis May Prevent COVID-19 Infections

Early studies in both Israel and Canada show findings consistent with CBD's effect on COVID-19's ability to take hold in the lungs or the gastrointestinal tract. If the receptors are reduced, the viral infection and pulmonary toxicity should be reduced.
