PIC 2 MALE PLANT WITH POLLEN SACS

PIC 3 FEMALE PLANT WITH HAIRS

Before we focus on the beautiful photos above let me explain how I got to these two plants.

1. Started with 30:1 Male seeded plant from Harle-Tsu and crossed with Diamond OG

2. Results from this first or F1 generation produced 2:1 CBD:THC with a lovely aroma

3. I lucked upon some Diamond OG Male Pollen and crossed the CBD/OG cross, so a second F1 generation

4. I planted 15 of these male/female “Double Crossed” with Diamond OG and picked what initially looked like two

females of the same phenotype. At the time, I was just looking for the best “Mom” plant and didn’t count on the

second girl being a boy!! It can definitely sneak up on you.

So, to the photos. The two “siblings” are shown in the first photo on the left. The male is bigger and stronger, which is nearly always the case, but the plants look very similar with similar leaf and branching structure. The other noted phenotypes were not as robust.

Now with a male and female, in photo two and three, it is pretty easy at this point to see the hairs of the girl and the pollen sacs of the boy. When the pollen starts floating out, it hits a hair and then makes a seed. Amazing. Those seeds will be F2 and will generate nearly identical seeds and the plants will be very similar to the ones shown. They have great lineage so we expect good producers as well as obtaining more 4:1 THC:CBD strains.

BTW, these are also great to smoke or vape. Check out recent blog on awesome strains.

Cannabis May Prevent COVID-19 Infections

Early studies in both Israel and Canada show findings consistent with CBD's effect on COVID-19's ability to take hold in the lungs or the gastrointestinal tract. If the receptors are reduced, the viral infection and pulmonary toxicity should be reduced.

WHILE CONSIDERING CHEMOTHERAPY…

Dr Frankel talks about chemotherapy, it's issues/side effects, and how cannabis can alleviate some of those issues, prevent others, and help enhance the effectiveness of the chemo. He uses a few patient cases to illustrate his approach.

Graft Versus Host Disease With Organ Transplants and CBD

CBD has recently been studied to help with Graft Versus Host Disease which can occur after an organ transplant. Dr Frankel also highlights potential dosing with whole plant cannabis and why whole plant cannabis is more beneficial to single molecule CBD.
