Every attempt to determine if a 5 ng level means intoxication has always failed. I bet mine is over that right now and I am fully alert and functional as many of us are.

As strongly as I have felt about 21 being the minimum age, I believe that any serum testing COULD lead to our being in a position WORSE than we are now.

I detest the testing for cannabis. It SEEMS that alcohol testing with serum levels is not perfect, but way, way, way better than trying to measure THC and it’s breakdown products.

I would rather see a 100% prohibition against open packages of cannabis in the car or ANY smoking in the car combined with “white line” walking for the cops with very tight sphincters than be subject to serum testing.

So, let’s consider trading the age issue for NO BLOOD TESTING. Frankly, I would rather have what we have NOW than have serum tests available to the “man”. It may never be fully implemented in California, but if they have the RIGHT to test us, AND they elect to move backwards, which can always happen, we are really now confined to our homes and public transportation.

Please let’s do a minimum age of 21 and not have ourselves violated by their needles. It is a potential nightmare. We believe the Feds are in fact backing off on “medical” but we have no evidence yet that they will back off on social.
