Last year I did an initial intake on a 44 year old woman. She had been in a horrible car accident and suffered traumatic brain injury. Her memory was severely compromised and overall function was challenging. She found taking care of her two children had become very difficult.

A year ago, she was started on just 15 mg of Whole Plant CBD daily. Within two days her memory and overall function were beginning to improve.

She recently came in for a follow up visit. For the past two months, having difficulty obtaining CBD, she stopped it. Her anxiety increased, as expected, but her overall brain function has remained at a level significantly better than last year. She attends a local hospital Memory Clinic and Memory Therapy. I still need to get the results of the reports, but the patient looks and acts almost like a different person. She appears much more “together”, calmer and was able to focus, AND she has been off CBD for a couple of months.

Could the CBD actually helped “heal” her brain injury? I don’t know, but something significant happened.

My intention is to obtain copies of all reports and speak with the Memory Therapists.

Very Exciting!!

Allan Frankel, MD Dr Allan Frankel is one of the few physicians in the US who truly understands Cannabis as a medicine. All treatments suggested have been well studied. Every patient seen by Dr Frankel is given a personally created Treatment Plan created with the patient's specific issues defined. Plant medicine requires "tuning" of the dosing. Dr Frankel works with his patients thru a messaging portal. The use of this portal, allows quick and simple follow up contact with Dr Frankel. Patients are not charged for these messages, as this is how Dr Frankel has learned what he has learned. Follow up appointments in person or by phone/video are also available when needed

Cannabis May Prevent COVID-19 Infections

Early studies in both Israel and Canada show findings consistent with CBD's effect on COVID-19's ability to take hold in the lungs or the gastrointestinal tract. If the receptors are reduced, the viral infection and pulmonary toxicity should be reduced.
