In an effort to learn more about differentiating hemp from “cannabis”, it is clear that nearly all hemp flowers look like the photos below or very similar. They have a much less structured trichome pattern and as we all know, minimal cannabinoids – although of the 4% or 5% total cannabinoids, 95% of them are CBD with THC, BY LAW, 0.3% or less.
As more cannabis strains show even lower THC:CBD ratios, they are clearly marijuana plants and look, grow, feel and smell very differently. Here are a few photos of the female Hemp flowers
