I meet mainstream, non-cannabis docs more and more who want to help their patients obtain CBD rich medications. So, how is this happening? The same as it can and occasionally does happen to any physician who is aware and supportive of dosed cannabis medicines. What are these supportive physicians demanding?
Strict health standards, testing, purity, truth in labeling, dosage recommendations to help the physician and patient better understand how to use the medication.
There have been “rumors” for years in the cannabis industry that physicians cannot give their patients detailed information on their patients’ cannabis regimen. There is no where that this is written nor implied that I am aware of. Within one week, I will post a very powerful and clear legal position by a very well respected lawyer in California. It will clearly state the using actual “Treatment Plans” is protected.
Can you EVER imagine a federal court going against a physician for helping their patient? You can’t exchange any products and you can’t refer to collectives, but you MUST give as much information as you have to your patients. How can it be any other way. NO jury would ever convict a physician, so the Feds are never going after physicians who are educating patients; it is really nuts and irresponsible.
